The Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, 2012 provides a framework and a PDPA checklist for companies to follow for personal data protection. It comprises various rules governing the collection, use, disclosure and care of personal data.  By regulating the flow of personal data among organizations, it also has the important mission to maintain Singapore’s position as a trusted, world-class hub for businesses.  Every business in Singapore must understand what this regulation entails, its importance in the compliance and cybersecurity ecosystem, and the steps to become compliant with PDPA.  In this session, we aim to share the understanding of PDPA obligations and Cyber Security in order to protect the healthcare sector.

She also holds a Professional Diploma in Leadership and Management as well as Certified International Privacy Manager and Certified International Privacy Professional/ASIA awarded by the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She is currently Fundamentals of Personal Data Protection, Practitioner Certificate in PDPA Preparatory Course, and is a courseware developer with a major Approved Training Organisation.
